Happy Belated Birthday, Childhood Hero

This guy has a special place in my heart. His TV show and movie made my childhood even more magical with his antics.

Paul Reubens, I always knew you as Pee Wee Herman, even when you weren’t. Happy belated 60th b-day!

Current things — side-effects and sex toys.

One thing that made me happy: Going yard/garage-saling and getting a ton of great things for under $20! Also buying a truck-load still-new clothes for my son from Goodwill. Most of the things I got for him still had the plastic tag strings on them.

One thing I’ll never do again: Take Claritin D.

One of the side-effects is anxiety. I was feeling awful, having insomnia, nightmares and I was very jumpy and nervous. I started to suspect it was from the Claritin and my suspicions were correct. After not taking it for just a day, all of those things went away. My sinuses have been bothering me a little, but it’s bearable… at least more bearable than the side-effects!

One thing I want to try: I’ve been looking into these in-home sales businesses (stuff like Avon!) to see if I want to try them to make some extra money. I tried Avon a long time ago and failed miserably, so I didn’t pay any mind to trying anything else. Since then, I’ve learned a lot about how to handle my money and even gotten more business minded, so I might give it another. This time I think I’ll try something different…

Pure Romance! My cousin got started with it, and I was intrigued. It’s cool because you can buy stuff right from the consultant’s website. She had me sample a few of the different lubes and they are nice. I liked the cosmopolitan-flavored lube the best. There’s also one called “Just Like Me” if you’re extra sensitive or don’t want anything silicone-based or flavored. I haven’t even gotten into the toys yet, but you can go here and look for yourself!

Lightning Capture (I cheated?)

I actually don’t have the know-how or the right kind of camera to capture lightning. I cheated. Took a video of the storm cloud, paused the video on my computer on the frame with the lightning, took a screen shot and cropped it, saved it back on my phone and ran it through a certain photo editing app. bwaha

The Rainbow Bridge

I decided to make a memorial post for our kitty Simon, who passed away on the 24th of last month and share that poem. According to Wikipedia, no one is sure who wrote it but there are some guesses. My Grandma shared it with me so I wanted to make a nice graphic out of it to share.
