About The Girl
I’m better at writing than I am at speaking. I always have to be writing or making something or I’ll get bored. I love bell-bottoms and long hair, classic rock and new-agey stuff, which I guess makes me a hippie, but whatever. I’m not one for traditional methods, but I have my values: keeping your word, being there when people need you, not gossiping and being true to yourself. I live in a small town in Ohio and its lovely here, but someday I wish to move somewhere a little more cultured and warm all year around. I’m interested in all things paranormal and I love to learn about strange subjects. I’m pretty open-minded. Astrologically, I’m a Cancer sun, Sagittarius moon, Leo Rising.
I’ve been writing paid articles for Demand Media (for eHow.com) since September 2009. Writing and publishing are my main passions and one of my main goals in life is to see my writing in print in a magazine. For now, I can satisfy that goal by writing in my own blog and contributing to other online publications.
I did not go to college for writing, and now I wish I had. I was under the false impression that it wouldn’t be “stable”, so I went for a degree in something I have no passion for. I’ve been writing creatively since I was a child, and I’m finally realizing its the only I thing really want to do.
