Personal Rules to Live By
I wrote done these little personal rules a few months ago when things were looking really bleak. A lot was coming to my attention about the things that might be holding me back in life, mostly just the way I thought about some things. These are kind of along the lines of affirmations, which I’ve tried to do in the past but I would always forget to read/say them after a while. I found the file a few weeks ago and thought “hmm… maybe I should share these?” and try making a video out of them like I’ve been meaning to do for the past week or so. I’m not comfortable in front of a camera but I’m working on it, so in the meantime I decided to try something a little different instead of speaking. Sorry if it’s a little fuzzy, I’m still figuring out what works well and what doesn’t. I used a free piece of music from Danosongs.com… the music is great quality, and all he asks for in return for using his music is a link back. What a sweetheart!
What are some of your own “personal rules of conduct?”
Hi there! My name is Angela (you may have guessed) but for short, you can call me Angie. I've been writing on the internet for fun since 2001, and for fun/professionally since 2009. This blog is full of things to read, but focuses on writing in all it's facets.

Pretty nice rules! I especially like the one about living in the now but planning for the future. Like that famous quote by I can’t remember who at the moment. “Life passes most people by while they’re busy making plans for it”.
