Around the web in a few days, May/June edition.

Well its kinda chilly right now, but I can’t complain. We live on the 3rd floor so its always at least 10 degrees warmer in our apartment than outside and I hate turning the AC on. I’d like to actually experience summer while its here and not hide from the warmth and the chirping birds. Because of the craziness for the last month or so this “around the web in x days” is combined but still shorter than the last. Maybe a little more oddball too, but that’s how we do.

ReligionFacts.com – Just the facts about the religions of the world. I love sites like this because hopefully people will learn the truth about them before making unfair judgments and believing common fallacies. See also ReligiousTolerance.org.

Victorian Houses – I’m not an architecture aficionado, but I love looking at these! Beetlejuice Beetlejuice Beetlejuice!

The message and reason behind “Slut Walks”.

How to Make a “Hippie Bracelet” – Recently got the sudden urge to make friendship bracelets again, and these are my favorite because they don’t take as long to make as the others, and they’re cute.

How to Make Your Own DIY Perfume – One of my goals now is to make my own unique perfume.

Bears as a totem animal. – “Bear medicine teaches us introspection, aiding us to digest our experiences and to discover that we have within ourselves the answers to all our questions. We all have bags of wisdom, if only we slow down and listen to what our intuition, our inner knowing voice is telling us. It is useful to be with yourself at times, so you can be yourself and are able to uncover your own answers to whatever challenge you are facing. On the other hand, just like Bear you need to know when to come out of ‘hibernation’ and to interact with others. ”

And this gif of John “Bonzo” Bonham (Led Zeppelin), my most favorite drummer evar (Source). See also this video.

“bonham died because god wanted drumming lessons…”
