Bomb Ass WordPress Plugins
Some nifty WP plugins I use and why I love them.
Snazzy Archives
This was easy peasy to set up and has a lot of options for the layout. You can even give the little calendar-like squares rounded corners. Just click over to my archives page to see it in action. I like that it looks and functions like a little clickable calendar. If you just like your archives page to be a list, then move right along!
Category Pages
This plugin makes it easy to put a list of all the posts in one category on their own page. I couldn’t figure out any other way to do it, so my plan B is to see if there is a plugin for it!
Sexy Comments
I just got this one recently to make my comments function and look more like a message board. Its much more response friendly now. Nice and easy and very useful.
CommentLuv
This is a very popular plugin and rightfully so. If you have it installed and you comment on a blog that also has it installed, a link to your latest post shows up right under your comment (as long as you go to the CommentLuv website and put in the url of your blog feed.)
Subscriptions
Check the box below the comment form and you’ll get an email if someone responds to your comment. At first I though WP did this automatically but apparently not. Very convenient little plugin.
Database Backup
This is a must have. If for any reason your server crashes or some other catastrophic event takes place, your database (all the information on your blog) isn’t lost to the abyss. Your database is emailed to you in a zipped folder as often as you want (I chose every day). If you have a self-hosted WordPress you should really download this plugin if you don’t have it!
Quotes Collection
This is what I use to display the random comments on my sidebar. I’ve had this plugin for a long time (going back to my previous domain). I love quotes so this plugin is very convenient for me. If it wasn’t for this quote I would be doing a “quote of the week” or something like that manually.
TTF Titles
How I got the font that I downloaded as my title type. Now I can incorporate the titles into the design a little better and I’m not restricted to using the plain jane fonts that everyone (maybe) is sure to have on their computer. Angelica rocks for giving me the link to it.

That titles plugin looks awesome. I may have to investigate it further and see if I can incorporate it into a new design for my blog. Thanks for sharing!

I don’t use much WP so i wouldn’t really know what you are talking about; although that sexy comment thing sounds nice.
Nice pic in the previous post

Nice collection of plugins. I have been thinking of creating more plugins, but I can’t come up with something that doesn’t already exit.

TTF Titles is definitely my favorite out of the ones you have written about, definitely fun to have different fonts for titles even if people don’t have the font on their system. Good list there Angie!
